Pet Policy Reminder
There is a “No Pet” policy at Timbers at Island Park Village Resort.
Animals of any kind are not permitted to be housed in the units. Please make arrangements for your pets to remain home or at an animal shelter.
Unfortunately, because of this policy if any animals are found in a unit the occupants will be asked to remove the pet and/or leave the resort.
Thank you for your cooperation in following this policy. It is very important for the enjoyment of other owners and guests.

What does Trading Places do for the Association?
Trading Places provides the very highest level of quality, trading power, guest services and value possible. You will love the enhancements and expanded services TPI provides all Timbers at Island Park Village Resort owners.
Why Trading Places International (TPI)?
Trading Places is a professional timeshare and resort management company located in Lake Forest, California. With resorts all over the western United States and Mexico, TPI will assist resort employees and Board of Directors in providing quality services of every type needed by the resort.
Who handles the day-to-day management of the resort?
The day-to-day operation of the resort is under the direction of Angie Illum, the Resort General Manager. TPI supports Angie in every way, through frequent on-site visits and constant telephone communications. Angie directs the purchases needed to support the resort and TPI makes the payments. TPI produces the monthly financial reports and assists the board and Angie in the management of its funds. Angie has an excellent group of employees that assist her.
How do I become more involved with the association?
Run for the board or serve on one of the many committees available. If you are interested in either, please contact the resort manager or Doug Wilcox at doug.wilcox@tradingplaces.com for more information.
What are some of the committees?

How do I make a reservation?
To make a reservation, simply contact the Owner Services Department at Trading Places International at (888) 290-2740 ext. 1 or email ownerservices@tradingplaces.com. Reservations can be booked up to a year in advance to the day and space books up fast, so plan early! Please refer to the Island Park Rules and Regulations for more information on how and when to make reservations. We look forward to assisting you with your vacations plans!
Exactly how far in advance can I reserve a use week?
You may reserve a use week up to 12 months in advance. However, for deposit requests ONLY, a reservation for your contracted week can be made up to 24 months in advance with the prepayment of maintenance fees.
Will I be required to pay the maintenance fee on my interval to reserve a week or do an exchange?
No, when requesting a reservation for the following year the maintenance fee for that year does not have to be paid in full, however they do have to be paid in full before the reservation can be banked/deposited for exchange.
I never received a confirmation, where do I get one?
You may request a confirmation by calling the Owner Services Department at 888-290-2740 ext. 1 or e-mail ownerservices@tradingplaces.com.
How can I exchange my week to travel to another property?
If you are not planning to travel on your week to Timbers at Island Park Village Resort and would like to bank it with an exchange company, make sure you plan early, as all reservations are subject to availability!
In order to bank/deposit a week most exchange companies (Trading Places International (TPI), Resort Condominiums International (RCI), Interval International (II), etc.) require a specific lead time for unrestricted exchange terms. The earlier you deposit the better your chances will be to receive flexibility with your exchange options.
Steps to banking/depositing your week for exchange:
- Call Trading Places International’s Owner Services department to request a reservation for deposit.
- Pay your corresponding maintenance fees for the week you want to bank/deposit.
- Contact the exchange company of your choice and give them your Timbers at Island Park Village Resort reservation (*Please note: An owner services representative is able to facilitate your deposit should you elect to use Trading Places Exchange or RCI exchange).
- Make sure you receive a confirmation directly from the exchange company in writing confirming your week has been successfully banked/deposited.
Why did II or RCI deny my deposit?
In order to deposit your week with an outside exchange company you must have a week already booked at Timbers at Island Park Village Resort. Your maintenance fees for the year also must be paid in full. Please check with the Owner Services Department by calling 888-290-2740 ext. 1 for more information.
Do we have to know which property we want to exchange into at the time we deposit?
No. Just like making your reservation, the earlier you request a specific location, the more likely you are to get it.
How do I know if I should deposit and/or exchange my week with TPI, II, or RCI?
As a guideline, TPI specializes in exchanges with Hawaii, the Western U.S., and Mexico. RCI & II do exchanges worldwide.

How does the rental program work?
Our owner rental program was designed to help owners "offset" their maintenance fees if they do not wish to travel back to their home resort. Trading Places International retains a commission for their services.
- A rental agreement is signed by the owner and submitted back to Trading Places in order for their unit to get listed. We recommend a minimum 6 months prior to arrival; however, we will accept weeks up to 30 days prior to arrival. The sooner Trading Places receives the week to rent, the better rental opportunity and rate for the owner.
- High demand weeks accepted by Trading Places into the rental program will be guaranteed a banked week if the unit does not rent. Week must be received by Trading Places no later than 120 days prior to arrival in order to be guaranteed.

When can I expect my annual maintenance fee statement?
Regular association dues are billed annually and are due payable October 1st of each year (subject to change based on the approved ABC Policy), late by October 31st. A statement is mailed to you as a courtesy to assist you in making your yearly maintenance fee payment. Non-receipt of a statement does not relieve you of your financial obligation. Check/Cash payments are encouraged to help keep association expenses down, however if you cannot pay by cash or check you can now pay your maintenance fees online with a credit card. Just

Can I make additional reservations to travel back to Timbers at Island Park Village Resort if I’ve already used my owner time?
If you are a Timbers at Island Park Village Resort Timeshare owner, you may book Bonus Time at your home resort 14 days in advance or less for a minimum of two nights. Contact Owner Services, 888-290-2740, ext 1 or email ownerservices@tradingplaces.com for current rates and availability.
You may also contact TPI’s Vacation Rental Services to inquire about booking reservations more than 14 days in advance of travel, 888-290-2740, ext 4 or visit www.timbersatislandpark.com/reservations to check rental availability. Nightly minimums may apply.
How can my friends and family travel with me to Timbers at Island Park Village Resort?
If you are looking to plan a vacation more than 14 days in advance, or your family and friends would like to visit Timbers at Island Park Village Resort, a rental reservation may work for you or your family. Please be aware that all association rentals and Bonus Time are subject to availability and are typically not available during the summer months or around holidays. However, there could be owners who have listed their weeks for rent with TPI. Rental reservations can be booked online at www.timbersatislandpark.com/reservations. You may also call Vacation Rental Services at 888-290-2740, ext 4 or email rentals@tradingplaces.com, to inquire about rates and availability.
Can a guest use my unit?
Yes, a guest can use your unit. Contact Owner Services at 888-290-2740 ext. 1 or e-mail ownerservices@tradingplaces.com with your guests name and general information. There is no fee to add a guest name to your reservation.
